some years (i think) ago, i watched a pizza special on discovery channel featuring the best pizzas in the US or something.
yesterday, after watching The Producers on Broadway we walked past this restaurant next to the theatre WHEN daniel pointed out its unique architecture. and then i started screeching! I KNOW THIS PLACE! :) therefore made a resolution to coerce everyone to eat there DESPITE the food prices. :)
and we DID. today in fact. before watching... (drumroll) THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. which in my opinion is absolutely AMAZING. i guess the fact that i know the music helps. BUT the stage sets/costumes/transitions etc were so GOOD. i would watch it again. so good. limited vocab i know. i finally understand why it is the longest running broadway show. simple plot but love it for its flamboyance. i will rave more but i'd rather not divulge all the details! :)
pre broadway hype, we went to obtain tickets to get to liberty island and ellis island. but due to *ahem* not-so-efficient sleeping schedules, we only arrived at our day's first destination at 230pm. ah. so as punishment, we have to get up at 6am tom. to get on the boat. i am just very glad that i can return to new york another time! :)prior to that we bought paos at CHINATOWN! wah... huge chinatown indeed. and bustling bustling. :) chinatown in action!
more about the pizza place, it used to be a church - hence the pretty architecture! :) lovely place. great fried calamari. :)
wokay - am completely tired now. and u have pics finally! featuring jeremy (in green), cheryl(who is packing jeremy's suitcase now - what a sweetie!) and daniel (who is described as jet li junior). goodnight folks.
