raya/deepavali at embassy
wokay! some weeks back, the malaysian student assoc of UVa and many other schools gathered at the msian embassy in DC for a raya cum deepavali celebration! which basically meant MALAYSIAN FOOD! wooo!
list of food: satay, lontong, curries, nasi minyak, sambal sotong, erm, excellent pineapple tarts that disappeared almost immediately! but main idea is this - i miss local food so much!
and we have shots of ourselves with the Malaysian Ambassador, Tan Sri Ghazzali and his wife! :)
met a couple of undergrad and grad malaysian students too! :)
p.s. yes, i m definitely doing a mass update of all events since i have been so busy lately!

helllloooooooo mun i'm in boston. thank you for your prayers! flight was good, was very glad bailey was with me. and i told her that i'm so fortunate to have you as my roomie!! boston already is cold, can't handle it, and maine? scariness awaits. also: big, big dog named Wahoo (??) at bailey's house. double the scariness. am sorry to hear about our VTech trashing. i thought maybe this year since WE were here, the tides would turn but oh well, VTech needs something to be good at! (did i just say that?? GO HOOS!)
