autumn/fall

dear loved ones, i have taken very RANDOM shots of myself. process went like this - came from sociology lecture, dumped bag in room, ran into hallway and asked for someone to walk out of the dorm, and get a picture of me with a tree. cool?

well, and i m pretending to be intellectual, so held book. nah, actually - its my mom's dream. and i do believe that she intends to live vicariously through my whole read-book-undertrees-in-autumn lifestyle. haha. :) but the trees are indeed very pretty. but right now, the very pretty tree in the picture is BOTAK. its turning very cold. and thats not very exciting, trust me!

i walked out to school yesterday when it was about -3 deg C. yikes! oh and i learnt about temperature scales in astronomy class, and the fahrenheit scale is just strange. bout some traveller by the name of fahrenheit (wow!) and how he wanted to be able to always measure temp wherever he went. so he decided that the pt at which cold brine is saturated is 0 deg F. since salt lowers freezing point, we have 32 deg f as 0 deg c. haha. hmmm i just thot it strange.
