my mother once said

you know how your elders tell you the funniest stories, what i would call dongeng. which technically means myth in malay.

and i remember that my mother used to convince me to get my bangs trimmed - if they went beyond my eyebrows then i am asking for a fever. and it's funny, because based on purely empirical observation - i tend to have overdue bangs whenever i get the temperature.

and this time, it's no exception. only that i needed more than medication. affectionately called the IV. the folks at the ER gave me the drip. to soothe my dehydrated body from overactive bowels (therefore, the inability to retain fluid). either way, it's another college tale.

i only hope that my family doesn't read this. love you all. take good care! don't let the virus bite.
