Merry (Texan) Christmas!

Hello dear ones. Greeeeeetins from Dallas, Texas!

Although I am enjoying myself very much with the CHINs (there's Uncle Joe, Aunty Irene, Kellee, Victoria and Peni-el), I miss my dear CHINs too. Especially while they are munching away at the Marriott's Shanghai on Christmas morning. Oh dim sums, how i adore thee.

Gill and I arrived here last Wednesday and we have been fed with delectable home-cooked food ever since. Aunty Irene made this soya chicken thing with potatoes (think my po po), and it was so good! She also made Hokkien mee and beef bulgogi. Wah. Wah. Wah. Uncle Joe is currently preparing for fulltime ministry here at Christ for The Nations, and he may be heading to Canada next year for Bible College. :) It's such joy to be with the family!

Thanks to Beth (Gill's better half aka sister), Gill has been rather preoccupied with the right side of her pretty face. Especially during picture-taking. I am too amused but hey, I have to love her anyway.

Oh DALLAS! It's colder than I thought it would be but still ada sunshine so that's ok. We were at the Cedar Hill National Park for a picnic yesterday morning/afternoon. And it was rather scenic! We went for a boat ride with a few good men. Haha.

Then we visited a crazy posh mall (like Star Hill or Paragon) called Galleria, we could only afford McDonald's. For dinner, Kellee and her boyfriend Harlen made some coolio bulgogi and telur goreng at her apartment in her college, Dallas Baptist University. It's really pretty - set on a hill and speckled with lights. :)

Ok, enough from me. More from you. (In a singy voice) And have yourself a merry little Christmas too... Blessed New Year!
