keep austin weird

hello hello! ah, it's so nice and warm here! 77deg! yeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh! gill is getting tired of my incessant ravings. but i just can't help it. i am wearing shorts and flip flops in winter - unbelievable.

weather aside, austin rocks! it's weird. but i like it. everyone is very laid-back and friendly. and the girls wear less make-up. oh how refreshing! it's nice looking at people prancing around in t-shirts and jeans/shorts.

and gill has the best apartment in town. and better housemates - beeba, and sobeyda. such lovely ladies! they're heading back home to houston on wednesday (when we will be heading to dallas-heh).

i've been on sixth street which is located downtown. and i love it! crazy nightspots and just random food/pub/lurking places. and our next mission is to enter into coyote ugly saloon. and say hi to their coyote of their month. hahaha.

last night, we drove (well actually gill's friend, edward) to zilker park to check out this annual trail of lights event. and yes, it's a TRAIL OF LIGHTS! which is incredibly pretty. traffic was rather mad but the hardwork paid off. and we had this huge turkey leg. holding that greasy club in my hand was quite an experience. the things you do in texas.

oh the university of texas is very nice and school spirit is solid. you see burnt-orange (school colour!) and the longhorn everywhere.

i AMAZED by this LONE STAR state. pun intended.
