ypsilanti exists
i had a LOVELY LOVELY time in alexandria/DC with vlad, sheena and her buddies. the weather was gloriously warm and sunny over the weekend! sheena took me to a frog exhibit by the national geographic. she tries very hard to educate me. we also visited mount vernon i.e. home to george washington and concluded that all the founding fathers are anal beings. they are very much into symmetry of their gardens, organization of everything and systematic deals. i think sheena will make a very good founding "father".
i am currently in ann arbor, michigan visiting jaime, my friend who graduated 1.5 years ago. it's been great catching up with her over lots of yummy food and ice cream. oh the waistline. it's VERY cold up here and i believe the snow is making up for the lack of winter in charlottesville. there is supposedly a snowstorm hitting ann arbor now. we'll check the car tomorrow for a blanket of whiteness.
ann arbor is pretty cool. haha. pun not intended. and ypsilanti is a neighboring town! i always thought that sufjan stevens made that up. it sounds so fictional. i want to live there. "hi, i live in ypsilanti" - how neat is that.
pictures will come later!
