american cny

salut salut!

alright everyone. it's still chinese new year. so keep popping those pineapple tarts. on behalf of your beloved. :)

let's see. chinese new year was a blast! i had chinese buffet on the reunion dinner night. with helen and clara lee. asian buffet. with the greasiest chinese spread ever! nonetheless, slightly palatable. :) is that how you spell it? my england is very bad at the moment. this is what america does to you! ha.

on the 1st day of chinese new year. i went to church, and then had lunch with the msian kids at this chinese restaurant named first wok, near the college. I AM NEVER RETURNING again. the lady was so uninviting. and no more! chinese new year and she wears a gloomy face. apa saja!

it was yummy i had my general tso chicken. as usual. my mom claims that all these sweet & sour business are meant to 'cheat ang mohs' money'. haha. and kids' money too. and mine as well. since i love it!

later we headed to helen's apartment for a chinese new year party! pot luck dinner! and it was brilliant. let's see. we had nian kao (fried!), curry laksa, fried rice, bbq pork, chicken. almond pudding, EGGG ROLLS, PINEAPPLE TARTS. and my role in this affair? i played chinese new year music! it was hilarious! :)

how exciting.

and just an update bout my job! i love my job. i love it love it! heh. probably cos i need not shelve books. :)

oh ritey! time to snoooze.

p.s. i wore pink and orange. grandma be proud of me!
