lost in translation

i am hardly an avid reporter of 'life-events' but these, i think you should all know.

i...
1. watched a german play and fell asleep multiple times - clearly didn't understand any german.
2. went to private garden party thrown by shu-en. only that we were supposed to be in the public garden instead. it was hilarious.
3. learnt maybe 2 hand and leg motions associated with bhangra. it was for charity ok.
4. ate a yummilicious 3-oz hamburger with bacon strips, layered with lettuce, tomato slices, sauteed mushrooms, and grilled onions, PLUS a dash of hot sauce. topped with fries - real potato fries.
5. picked up my dismal women in judaism paper. i wish i could write about the 'suspected adulteress' as well as i do for food. see #4.
6. slept
7. walked up one of the many slopes on-grounds. and some gleaming black creature caught my eye. so polished, so seamless, and so gorgeous. in all seriousness, i don't even feel the same way about richard gere. i was literally gawking at this stationary object, and then i saw it. a B. a bentley. and i went home to google it.

only that this one was black.

so, moral of the story - start saving for my Christmas gift. :)
